Larry Most dealers are relucant to quote prices. If you don't seem like a customer and just shopping around they brush you aside. Shoal lake MB last week for phos. 688
ReplyDeleteMade lots of calls looking for pricing in the last week. Dealers are not equipped with lots of inventory. Pricing quotes are new product direct from plants. When do the dealers get to blend the high priced product?

ReplyDeletePhos $667-670 delivered (semi load lots)is the lowest I found but I hear prices may be moving up from here.In the last week I have found 4 different dealers in the $670 range, but some over $700. I think freight may have a part in this too.
Picked up 1 load of 11-52 and had only one week window with cost of fertilizer and trucking being 650.00 central saskatchewan paid just under 500.00 for 46-0-0 delivered in March

dealer in medicine hat wanted 800/ton... thats a 7000$ savings... not bad for a 3 hr drive
farmers beaware, lots of high priced specualation buys that retailers want us to recover for them...shop around
